jmaria Denegri (Lima, 1992), a.k.a. software92, es un espectro electromagnético, artista visual, diseñador y docente radicado en Lima, Perú. Su práctica combina dibujo, diseño y textualidad para construir ficciones especulativas situadas en el sur global.A partir de la ciencia ficción, las seudociencias y los relatos paranormales,desarrolla proyectos que exploran las relaciones entre ficción, conocimiento y poder, utilizando sistemas visuales que emulan formatos científicos e institucionales para cuestionar los regímenes contemporáneos de verdad.
jmaria Denegri (Lima, 1992), a.k.a. software92, is an electromagnetic spectrum, visual artist, designer, and educator based in Lima, Peru. His practice combines drawing, design, and textuality to construct speculative fictions situated in the Global South. Drawing from science fiction, pseudoscience, and paranormal narratives, he develops projects that explore the relationships between fiction, knowledge, and power, using visual systems that emulate scientific and institutional formats to question contemporary regimes of truth.
